Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.

The role involves implementing behavior plans, documenting progress, and promoting social and communication skills under supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Morning to evening shifts available with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills with families and team.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• College coursework in psychology/education or equivalent OR 1 year child-facing experience (e.g., Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist) required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
