Job summary

MAXIM HEALTHCARE SERVICES is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. The role offers certification training funded by Maxim and a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities include supporting social and communication skills, documenting progress via a mobile app, implementing goals per the Behavior Plan, providing crisis intervention, and following BCBA guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with special needs preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application.
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Provide behavior support services and crisis intervention.
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor.
