Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role implements goals from the Behavior Plan, documents progress, and collaborates with BCBA supervisors.

We offer paid training, certification support, and a team of BCBA supervisors. Flexible part-time hours and competitive pay include startup and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
• Provide behavior support services and crisis intervention
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor
