Job summary

MAXIM HEALTHCARE SERVICES seeks a Behavioral Technician to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities. We offer to pay for necessary certifications and training to start.

Responsibilities include helping clients improve social and communication skills, documenting progress via a mobile app, and executing goals set by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication skills and compassion for children with special needs.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application.
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Provide behavior support services and crisis intervention.
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor.
