Job summary

MAXIM HEALTHCARE SERVICES is seeking a Behavior Technician in California to provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities. This role offers competitive hourly pay and flexible scheduling.

You will work with BCBA supervision, document progress, and support skill development using individualized Behavior Plans. Training and certification are provided, including opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Passion for working with children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application.
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Provide behavior support services and crisis intervention.
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor.
