Job summary

Guided Steps, a Finni Health company, is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision in Natomas, Sacramento, CA. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday with afternoon hours from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

You will implement individualized ABA treatment plans, collect session data, and support development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (required)
• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
• Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
• A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Collect and record accurate session data
• Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals
• Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education
