A Better Way ABA in New York seeks a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to deliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will collect data, maintain session notes, and collaborate with BCBAs, other BTs and families.

Flexible schedules, with after-school hours and weekends, across Brooklyn (Brownsville/East Flatbush), Yonkers, Long Island City and Bushwick. Immediate start available.

Formación

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year working with children or in a related field.
• HIPAA confidentiality knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Implement behavioral plans developed by a BCBA/LBA.
• Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor client progress.
• Maintain detailed session notes and records.
• Collaborate with the therapy team (BCBAs, other BTs, and parents/guardians).
• Respond promptly to client, family, and supervisor needs.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with families and supervisors.

We are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

BTs work directly with individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges, implementing behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Job Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: At least 1 year working with children or in a related field
• Related roles include: Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher/Assistant, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Autism Aide, ABA Therapist, Childcare Specialist, Daycare Worker, Direct Care Worker, etc.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality laws

Work Schedule

• Part-time: 15–30 hours per week
• Must be available after school hours and/or weekends
• Most sessions begin after 3:00 PM
• Immediate start available in
