Job summary

A Better Way ABA seeks a part-time Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision. You will deliver one-on-one sessions, collect data, and maintain notes, working with BCBAs, parents, and the therapy team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year experience with children or related field.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• HIPAA confidentiality knowledge or compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism.

• Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor client progress.

We are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

BTs work directly with individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges, implementing behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Job Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: At least 1 year working with children or in a related field
• Related roles include: Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher/Assistant, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Autism Aide, ABA Therapist, Childcare Specialist, Daycare Worker, Direct Care Worker, etc.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality laws

Work Schedule

• Part-time: 15–30 hours per week
• Must be available after school hours and/or weekends
• Most sessions begin after 3:00 PM
