Job summary

ABS Kids in Tooele, UT is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with autism using ABA therapy. You will work one-on-one, collect data, and help with daily living skills in client homes and settings.

No experience? No problem—we provide on-the-job training, with opportunities to earn the RBT certification. Competitive hourly pay ($18.50–$23.00) and benefits including mileage reimbursement and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids.
• Calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness—learn our data collection software and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social and emotional skills.
