Sunrise ABA in Fremont, CA is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help develop communication, social, and daily living skills in various settings including client homes, schools, and clinics.

The role emphasizes data collection, collaboration with caregivers and teachers, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Science, or related field preferred.
• RBT certification preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children, especially with autism or special needs, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy in client homes, schools, clinics, and community settings throughout Fremont.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies to support skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate and timely data during each session to track client progress.
• Communicate client progress and changes in behavior to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and other team members to promote consistency across settings.
• Support children in developing communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
• Receive regular supervision, coaching, and feedback from your BCBA.
• Build positive and professional relationships with clients and their families.
• Provide support and education to caregivers as directed by the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all company and clinical procedures.
• Uphold a professional, compassionate, and respectful approach in every client interaction.
