Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health is hiring an ABA Behavior Technician in Monterey Park, CA. You will work one-on-one with clients to help reach developmental milestones and improve quality of life, under supervision from a BCBA.

Training is provided, with flexible part-time and full-time options and potential BCBA supervision hours for qualified candidates. Responsibilities include delivering ABA services, collecting data, interacting with families, and collaborating with Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: currently enrolled in college or has completed some college coursework.
• Experience: minimum 6 months with individuals with disabilities or related exposure.
• Availability: at least 15 hours in afternoons/evenings (3:00 pm – 8:00 pm typical).
• Age: must be 18 or older.
• Transportation: valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance (travel time compensated).
• Background: pass criminal background check, TB tests, pre-employment exam, and provide proof of immunity to MMR/Varicella.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct ABA services under supervision.
• Collect data on goals during sessions.
• Work in homes, community, school, clinic, or other locations with individuals with autism or related disabilities.
• Address problem behaviors with positive behavior support techniques.
• Assist with caregiver support and training as needed.
• Arrive on time and end sessions punctually.
• Submit timecards and complete notes per policy.
• Collaborate with Supervisors/BCBAs.
• Follow ethical standards and company policies.
• Assist with new hire training through overlaps/shadowing.
