Job summary

Building Block Resolutions (BBR) is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support high-needs clients in California. You will work under BCBA supervision to implement ABA therapy, safety plans, and data-driven interventions in 1:1 sessions.

The role emphasizes a calm, patient, and professional approach, with access to RBT certification support, tablets for clinical work, and opportunities for growth into full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-needs or aggressive cases.
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and behavior-reduction strategies.
• Able to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
• Willing to follow clinical direction and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Implement behavior intervention and safety plans.
• Respond to aggression and challenging behaviors.
• Maintain a calm, therapeutic environment during escalations.
• Collect accurate and timely session data.
• Communicate progress and incidents to supervising BCBA.
• Follow safety, documentation, attendance, and clinical procedures.
• Participate in required trainings and supervision.
