Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy in Garner, NC is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in person with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, applying ABA techniques to support progress and quality of life.

You will collect data, assist assessments, and collaborate with families and professionals under BCBA supervision, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and promoting respectful, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA-based behavioral therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and HIPAA.
• Strong patient-care principles and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct assessments and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and HIPAA-compliant records.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training and professional development in behavioral health.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
