Job summary

Sunrise ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to implement ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision. This role involves delivering one-on-one therapy sessions in client homes, schools, and community settings, and collecting progress data.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), with experience in ABA or working with children a plus, and a genuine passion for helping children flourish. Reliable transportation and a team-oriented attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience implementing ABA programs or working with children with special needs is a plus.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• A passion for working with children and helping them flourish is required.
• An eagerness to be part of a caring and team-oriented company culture.
• A deep commitment to show up everyday (reliable transportation).
• Certifications: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans under supervision.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions in home, school, and community settings.
• Utilize ABA techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Accurately collect and record data on client progress.
• Monitor and report changes in client behavior to the BCBA.
• Assist in preparing progress reports and attending team meetings.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ABA principles and practices.
• Receive supervision from BCBA to ensure quality of care.
• Collaborate with families and team members to generalize skills across settings.
• Provide support and training to family members and caregivers.
