Job summary

POPS aba is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with clients under BCBA supervision, delivering evidence-based ABA interventions and tracking progress across home and school settings.

You will implement BIPs, provide one-on-one instruction with DTT and naturalistic teaching, and help clients gain essential life skills while maintaining ethical, confidential practices and a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately follow instructions, implement behavior plans, and collect detailed data.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to client locations in homes, schools, or other settings as needed.
• Dedication to ethical standards, client confidentiality, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans created by the BCBA to address each client’s needs.
• Deliver one-on-one direct instruction using ABA methods such as DTT and naturalistic teaching.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using designated methods and tools.
• Support clients in developing functional skills in communication, socialization, self-care, and independence.
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes independence and motivation.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to assess progress, adjust plans, and maintain consistency.
• Maintain open communication with clients, families, and team members with progress updates.
• Participate in continuous training to enhance ABA skills.
