Job summary

POPS ABA in Clayton, North Carolina is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work under a BCBA, implementing individualized ABA plans in home, school, and community settings.

You will conduct one-on-one sessions, collect data, help clients acquire functional skills, and participate in training to strengthen ABA techniques. Travel to client locations and ongoing supervision are provided.

  • Provide direct, one‑on‑one instruction to clients using ABA techniques such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management strategies.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using designated tools and methods.
  • Help clients acquire and practice functional skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self‑care, and independent living.
  • Create a supportive, positive environment that promotes client engagement, motivation, and autonomy.
  • Work closely with the BCBA and team members to review progress and adjust strategies as needed for consistency across environments.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members, providing progress updates and sharing relevant information.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance ABA skills and knowledge.

Behavior Technician (BT) Position Overview:

We’re looking for caring, motivated individuals to step into the role of Behavior Technician. Working closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll help implement personalized behavior plans and teach essential life skills in home, school, and community settings.
