Job summary

POPS BT is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work with clients under BCBA supervision, delivering evidence-based ABA interventions in homes, schools, and community settings.

You will implement BIPs, collect data, and help clients learn functional skills while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and communicating progress to families. This role emphasizes ethical practice, confidentiality, and client-centered support.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one ABA instruction using DTT and naturalistic strategies.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior with designated tools.
• Assist clients in acquiring functional skills across communication, social, self-care and living skills.
• Foster a supportive, engaging learning environment promoting independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to adjust strategies.
• Communicate progress with families, caregivers and team members.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance ABA practice.
