Job summary

Thrive Behavior Centers is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision for children ages two to ten with autism. The role emphasizes safety, rapport-building, and accurate data collection during sessions, with comprehensive notes for families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must obtain RBT certification within the first 60 days of employment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Uphold BACB ethics and supervision standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing ABA programs as prescribed.
• Monitor the client throughout sessions to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Administer behavioral interventions per BCBA direction for clients with communication or medical needs.
• Build rapport with clients by pairing with reinforcement.
• Engage with clients during sessions, modeling verbal behavior and expanding reinforcers.
• Create complete session notes and daily parent notes for each therapy session.

Skills
