Job summary

ABS Kids in Huntersville, NC is hiring entry-level Behavior Technicians/RBTs for part-time, variable shifts. The role focuses on applying ABA therapy, collecting progress data, and supporting children with autism spectrum disorder in client homes and local settings. Training is provided; a flexible schedule is offered with weekend options.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs (resume/apply).
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play with children and families.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness to learn data collection software and basic office tools.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child and use ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, and social skills.
• Move and assist as needed during sessions.
