Job summary

Pops-Aba is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work directly with clients under the supervision of a BCBA, delivering ABA-based interventions in homes, schools, and community settings.

You will collect data, implement tailored plans, and support clients in developing communication, social, self-care, and independence skills while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and implement ABA plans with fidelity.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one direct instruction using ABA techniques, including DTT and naturalistic teaching.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated tools.
• Assist clients in acquiring functional skills across communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a positive learning environment to promote engagement and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and adjust strategies.
• Communicate progress updates to clients, families, and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
