Job summary
Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team. The Behavior Technician will implement clients’ behavior support plans, provide ABA-based instruction under the direction of a BCBA, monitor and collect data, and report findings to the supervising BCBA.
The role involves collaboration with families to support meaningful behavior changes. Availability after school/evening hours is required, and candidates must be willing to travel to areas of Boston such as the
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 24 months of experience with developmental disabilities or related populations.
- Associate degree or higher in a related discipline or behavior management certification with 12 months experience.
- Certification as an RBT with 12 months experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provide ABA-based instruction under supervision.
- Monitor client behavior, collect data, and report data to the supervising BCBA.
- Collaborate with supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful behavior changes.
