Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services Inc. in California is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 behavior support for children with autism or developmental delays, in home, clinic, or school settings. You will implement BCBA-created plans, track progress, and communicate with families.

Training paths include RBT certification with company support. Entry-level candidates and certified RBTs are welcome; onboarding bonuses apply.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Highly Preferred: RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or ABA paraprofessional training certificate.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus!
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients

Responsibilities

• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA analysts
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
