Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays in home, clinic, or school settings. Schedule is 2-8pm, Monday to Sunday, with pay at $20–$24/hour, based on experience and training.

Training to obtain RBT within 6 months is required, with costs covered. You will deliver individualized activities, follow BCBA plans, collect progress data, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Preferred: current student or recent graduate in psychology, education, sociology, biology, or related field
• Highly preferred: RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification or ABA paraprofessional training certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through structured, play-based activities
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s)
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
