Job summary

The Hope Institute is seeking a Behavior Specialist to perform functional analyses, design data collection systems, and monitor behavior programs for youth. You will work under supervision to implement ABA-based interventions, track outcomes, and support staff with effective techniques to improve adaptive skills.

Responsibilities include staff training, collaboration with educational teams, and ongoing professional development to maintain compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Master’s level courses pursuing a MS in Behavior Analysis and Therapy.
• Experience with Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, or Cognitive Impairment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of staff.
• Successful background clearance and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional analyses and behavior assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Design and monitor data collection systems and analyze progress data.
• Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans with staff guidance.
• Provide staff training on ABA procedures and data collection.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team meetings and educational staff.
