Job summary

Kennedy Krieger Institute, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Data Specialist I to work under supervision of BCBA-D/psychologist to assist in assessing and treating severe behaviors and feeding disorders in individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will help collect behavioral data, perform functional analyses, train caregivers, and support the treatment plan while maintaining safety and protocol adherence in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Up-to-date Behavior Management training and in-service topics required by department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior and feeding disorders.
• Identify function of problem behavior via functional behavioral assessment and functional analysis.
• Develop and generalize function-based treatment and train parents, staff and school personnel.
• Collect, graph and analyze behavioral data; implement behavior management techniques safely.
• Assist with session setup/breakdown and provide direct patient care according to protocols.
• Occasionally assume primary therapist responsibilities and complete administrative duties.
• Assist with protocol monitoring as needed.
