Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania seeks a Behavior Consultant to design individualized behavior plans, provide consultation, and support teachers and families in applying positive strategies that boost academic and social growth.

You will conduct FBAs, develop PBSPs, train staff, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align with IEP goals, using data-driven interventions to help students gain confidence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related human services field.
• Minimum of two years of ABA service delivery, including FBAs and PBSPs; staff training experience.
• Minimum of two years working with individuals with ASD or emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Strong knowledge of ABA and positive behavior supports.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop individualized positive behavior support plans.
• Provide behavioral consultation and progress monitoring for assigned students.
• Train and support teachers and staff on implementing behavior strategies and data collection systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align behavioral goals with IEP objectives.
• Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions to promote ongoing student success.
