Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Behavior Consultant to support students ages 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will develop individualized behavior plans, monitor progress, and train staff to implement strategies aligned with IEP goals.

Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families, you will analyze data, adapt interventions, and help students build positive skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in ABA, psychology, special education, or related human services field.
• Minimum of two years ABA service delivery experience, including FBAs and PBSPs.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Strong knowledge of ABA and positive behavior supports.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop individualized PBSPs.
• Provide behavioral consultation and progress monitoring for assigned students.
• Train and support teachers and staff on implementing behavior strategies and data collection systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align behavioral goals with IEP objectives.
• Analyze data and adjust interventions to promote student success.

As a Behavior Consultant at New Story Schools, you will support students by developing individualized behavior plans that help them build positive skills and succeed both academically and socially. You will collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families to design and oversee effective behavioral strategies that make a real difference in each student’s growth and confidence.

What You’ll Need

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related human services field.

• Minimum of two years of ABA service delivery, including experience conducting FBAs and developing PBSPs and conducting staff training.

• Minimum of two years working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or emotional or behavioral disorders.

• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and positive behavior supports

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
