Modivcare in Norfolk, CT is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support. The starting pay rate is $16.94 per hour with available extra earnings through our caregiver rewards program and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Availability in Norfolk.

• Reliable transportation to and from client's location.
• Fluent in English; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities: dressing, bathing, meals; stand/walk regularly.
• Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals as needed.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe and welcoming.
• Provide medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues when needed.
• Respect client preferences and maintain professional, friendly contact.
• Be a friendly face and a steady presence for clients.

• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily carelike bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
• Respecting diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
