Care Finders, Inc. in Norfolk, CT is hiring a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home support and companionship. Starting pay is $16.94 per hour with opportunities to earn extra through our rewards program.

Flexible day/evening shifts with full-time, part-time and weekend options are available in Norfolk. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, transport coordination, medication reminders, and maintaining a safe, welcoming home environment.

Qualifications

• Availability to work day or evening shifts in Norfolk.
• Reliable transportation to and from client’s location.
• Fluent in English; bilingual preferred.
• Caregiving experience or live-in experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities including dressing, bathing, and meals.
• Support with mobility and safety, including lifting as needed.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and reinforce healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and escalate safety issues as needed.
• Be a friendly, reliable presence for clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily carelike bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
• Respecting diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
