Modivcare is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care in Wallingford, CT. Starting pay is $16.94 per hour plus extra cash through the Caregiver Rewards Program. Immediate opportunities exist for day shifts and weekends; bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish; bilingual preferred.
• Availability to work day shifts and weekends.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one care and companionship in clients' homes.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) with safe lifting as needed.
• Support clients with mobility, safety, and personal care as required.
• Maintain clean, welcoming living spaces and monitor wellbeing.
• Provide medication reminders and encourage healthy routines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily carelike bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
• Respecting diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
• Most importantly:Be afriendly faceand a steady presence
