Job summary

A&B Homecare Solutions is hiring compassionate in-home caregivers in Stamford, Norwalk, New Canaan and Wilton. Starting pay is $16.94 per hour with opportunities to earn extra through our rewards program. You’ll provide one-on-one care, companionship, and support with daily activities in clients’ homes.

We offer paid orientation, weekly pay, referral bonuses up to $375, and a caregiver rewards program. Flexible schedules include full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts, plus benefits and an EAP

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (bilingual English) and dependable.
• Reliable transportation to client locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and meals.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living space.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and escalate safety issues as needed.
• Be a friendly, trustworthy presence for clients.

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily care like bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
• Respecting diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
• Most importantly: Be a friendly face and a steady presence
