Job summary

Modivcare is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team serving Stamford, Norwalk, New Canaan and Wilton. You’ll provide one-on-one in-home care, companionship and daily activity support in clients’ homes.

We offer starting pay at $16.94/hr, weekly pay, paid orientation, flexible schedules including full-time, part-time and weekend shifts, and a Caregiver Rewards Program with extra incentives.

Qualifications

• Availability in Stamford.
• Reliable transportation to client's location is required.
• Bilingual in English.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Frequent standing and walking; assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals).
• Help with daily care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed.
• Respect diverse client personalities and maintain professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:

• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily carelike bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed
• Respecting diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
