ModivCare is seeking caregivers for immediate openings in Milford, Trumbull, Stratford, Fairfield, Danbury, Waterbury and surrounding areas of Connecticut. The role emphasizes companionship and one-on-one care, with starting pay and a rewards program.

As a caregiver, you will provide in-home support, assist with daily activities, ensure client safety, and contribute to a caring, respectful environment. Flexible schedules and weekly pay are offered, along with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Frequent standing and walking; assist daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals.
• Help with daily care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and escalated safety issues as needed.
• Respect diverse client personalities, preferences, and behaviors while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
• Be a friendly face and a steady presence.
