Job summary

South Coast Marines Limited seeks an Able Seaman to support deck operations aboard offshore vessels. You will perform bridge watchkeeping, assist with mooring, and carry out routine maintenance to ensure safe navigation and vessel readiness.

You must hold Certificate of Proficiency AB, STCW Basic Safety, Survival Craft, and a valid medical certificate and passport. Rotational offshore work requires strict safety practices and strong teamwork.

Job description

The Able Seaman (AB) supports the deck department in daily vessel operations, including watchkeeping, mooring, maintenance, and safety drills. This role is essential to ensuring safe navigation, efficient deck operations, and compliance with international maritime standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Certificate of Proficiency - AB (Reg. II/5)
• Watchkeeping Certificate (for foreign licence holders)
