Job summary

South Coast Marines Limited seeks an Able Seaman to support deck operations aboard offshore vessels. You will perform bridge watchkeeping, assist with mooring, and carry out routine maintenance to ensure safe navigation and vessel readiness.

You must hold Certificate of Proficiency AB, STCW Basic Safety, Survival Craft, and a valid medical certificate and passport. Rotational offshore work requires strict safety practices and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum sea-time as a deck rating with a strong seamanship background.
• Familiarity with mooring operations and deck maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of international maritime safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform bridge watchkeeping and lookout duties.

• Follow instructions from deck officers and contribute to overall vessel safety.
