Job summary

Complete Logistical Services is seeking an Able Bodied Seaman (AB) for a contract/temporary role with the option to work fully remotely. You will support safe vessel operations under the Captain and Mate, with duties across watches, deck maintenance, and cargo handling.

The ideal candidate holds an MMC with Officer in Charge endorsement, VPDSD, USCG Medical, and safety certifications. This hands-on position offers opportunities to contribute to maintenance, drills, and emergency response while

Qualifications

MMC with current dates.
OICEW endorsement.
VPDSD.
USCG Medical Certificate with valid dates.
Water Survival (T-HUET/FOET/BOSIET).
Rigging certification (API-RP-2D).
TWIC credential.
Safegulf or Rigpass certification.

Responsibilities

Stand navigational watches and maintain a proper lookout while underway.
Perform deck maintenance: painting, chipping, grinding, pressure washing, and preservation of the vessel.
Handle mooring lines during docking, undocking, and towing.
Assist with loading, unloading, and securing cargo and equipment.
Operate deck equipment: cranes, winches, capstans, windlasses, hydraulics.
Inspect lifesaving and firefighting equipment regularly.
Maintain vessel housekeeping and safe work environment.
Participate in safety inspections and report deficiencies.
Contribute to emergency drills and responses (man overboard, fire, flood).
Assist with fueling operations as needed.
