Job summary

Visual Concepts in Novato is seeking a UI Artist to contribute to the NBA 2K franchise. You will apply your traditional art training and knowledge of illustration, graphic design, and computer graphics software to help build a visually compelling and user-friendly interface.

You will create and implement high-quality UI assets, work with UI Designers and engineers to integrate assets into the game engine using Maya and proprietary tools, and contribute to motion graphics to elevate the user

Qualifications

• 2+ years crafting commercial UI designs for large-scale or AAA titles.
• Proficiency with 3D software (Maya, Cinema 4D) and familiarity with game engines (Unreal/Unity).
• Experience with 2D graphics apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) and UI/UX knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement high-quality UI assets aligned with the art direction.
• Collaborate with UI Designers and engineers to integrate assets into the game engine using Maya and proprietary tools.
• Contribute to motion graphics and visual effects to elevate user experience.
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback from playtests.
