Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Work and Material Planner I at the Mobile, AL site to coordinate all materials for the A220 final assembly line and plan day‑to‑day activities. You will resolve part shortages, collaborate with procurement and 3PL, and ensure alignment with the Master schedule across shifts.

The role emphasizes problem solving, Lean practices, and active participation in continuous improvement. On‑site work with a team dedicated to safety, quality, and timely production.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Material Management, Aerospace or Operations Management‑related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with production assembly, material and work planning.
• Preferred 2 years of experience in manufacturing work/material or tool management.

Responsibilities

• Plan material requirements for the work station and 10‑day look ahead.
• Coordinate with procurement and 3PL for shortages and contingencies.
• Generate and manage material plans to support the Master schedule.
• Track and investigate missing parts and drive timely replenishment.
• Maintain daily priorities and resource/workload balancing with station managers.
• Support KPI adherence to safety, quality and productivity.
