Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL, seeks a Work and Material Planner I for the Final Assembly Line. You will coordinate materials for the A220 assembly, plan day-to-day activities, and prevent shortages.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Material Management, Aerospace or Operations Management-related field.
• Experience with production assembly, material and work planning.
• Preferred 2 years of experience in manufacturing work/material or tool management.
• General knowledge of material and equipment used in the aviation industry.
• LEAN knowledge and ability to apply it.

Responsibilities

• Plan material requirements at work station with a 10-day look ahead.
• Interface with Mirabel Procurement Operations for shortage resolution.
• Coordinate materials for rescheduling in case of shortages.
• Investigate missing parts with 3PL coordination.
• Create MSN status reports and update progress regularly.
• Prepare aircraft documentation for milestone production meetings.
• Travel domestically and overseas as needed.
