Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated in Oak Grove, Kentucky, seeks an IT Technician-Non to support Audio/Visual systems and general IT needs across the property. Role focuses on operation, maintenance, and vendor coordination for A/V infrastructure while assisting networked systems and applications during off-hours.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT/AV, experience with QSC, Dante, and Shure systems, and is able to work weekends and nights when required, ensuring smooth events and property

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in IT, AV, or related support roles.
• Experience with commercial AV tech such as QSC, Dante, Shure, TriplePlay, BrightSign, Rockbot, and signage is preferred.
• Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of work experience and education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, operates, and troubleshoots A/V systems across the property, including TVs, projectors, signage, speakers, and controls.
• Works with vendors to diagnose and resolve A/V hardware/software issues needing escalation.
• Provides A/V support for meetings, events, and performances as needed.
• Assists IT team with install, configuration, and support of computers, printers, phones, and other equipment.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation and onsite user support for periods including weekends and nights.
