Job description

A bumper-to-bumper, master-certified technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile without supervision. In most cases, they are leaders in the shop and are chosen to support the development of other technicians when needed. At times, they may be called upon to interface with customers in various capacities.

Additional Information

We are currently looking for Automotive A-Technicians with advanced skill levels and leadership experience.

As a Technician with Vision, your duties will include the following but not be limited to:

1. Effectively communicate with your service team, other dealership personnel, and customers.
2. Stay current with all factory training and technical statuses acquired.
3. Keep your work area clean and orderly daily, as expected by management and OSHA standards.
4. Accurately diagnose customer concerns using all available means.
5. Obtain accurate repair quotes for labor and parts, including availability.
6. Perform proper quality controls on all repairs performed.

Experience

Minimum 4-7 years of mechanical experience

NYS Automotive Inspectors License required

Schedule

Full-time position, 5-day work week (discussed at interview)

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source (other than Hyundai) to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet specific requirements.
