Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a production supervisor on the A-shift at our Madison, NE facility. You will ensure high production levels, quality, and yield while maintaining a safe working environment.

The role requires understanding of production processes, record-keeping, line maintenance, and effective staffing. Responsibilities include reviewing orders, overseeing ergonomics, maintaining machinery, ensuring USDA standards, and leading safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a meat manufacturing environment (preferred pork/beef).
• 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Oversee morning exercises and job rotation for ergonomics and well-being.
• Maintain machinery performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Verify compliance with USDA inspection standards.
• Lead monthly safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Oversee shipping, inventory rotation, and product coding.
• Communicate benefits and compensation policies to team members.
• Motivate team to foster a high-performing workforce.
• Handle training, retention, and counseling on personnel matters.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to resolve production issues.
