Job summary

Encore Village in Schaumburg, IL is seeking an A/R Billing Manager with SNF experience to streamline claims submission to Medicare, Medicaid, LTC, and other payers across SNF, AL, IL and Outpatient services. You will monitor status, resolve denials, and lead month-end close.

You will supervise AR Billing staff, analyze A/R aging, implement collection strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate cash tracking and billing documentation.

Qualifications

Encore Village in Schaumburg is hiring a A/R Billing Manager – CCRC (SNF Experience Required)

Job Description

Submit claims to all payers (Medicare, Medicaid, LTC insurance, Managed Care, Private Pay, etc.) for SNF, AL, IL, and Outpatient services.

Monitor claim status, resolve denials, and ensure timely resubmission and month-end close.

Manage and maintain A/R aging for all service lines, including Outpatient; lead monthly/quarterly reviews and provide progress reporting.

Analyze A/R reports, identify aging trends, and implement strategies to improve collections.

Ensure compliance with all billing regulations and payer guidelines.

Cash posting, deposits, patient responsibility calculations, and accuracy of the cash tracking spreadsheet.

Maintain accurate insurance logs/tracker and other required billing documentation.

PCC set up of contracted rates, Medicaid rates, PDPM updates

Consolidated Billing.

Supervise AR Billing staff (including Outpatient): provide training, oversight, coaching, and performance feedback.

Establish workflow expectations, productivity standards, and quality controls for the billing team.

VBP% Updates

Census and payer tree accuracy

Refund requests

Post ancillary charges and submit check requests

Attend and schedule internal meetings as needed including but not limited to Triple Check

Perform other A/R billing functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years Healthcare A/R Billing experience - required

Knowledge of SNF billing processes and regulations - required

PCC & Inovalon experience - required

Knowledge of various insurance payers and billing requirements

Strong problem solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve billing issues

Excellent communication skills to interact with residents/family, insurers, team members and supervisors

Computer efficiency to utilize billing software and track A/R
