Job summary

AeroGuard Flight Training Center is seeking an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic I.A. to maintain our flight school aircraft. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with strict adherence to AeroGuard procedures and FAA rules, logging work and releasing aircraft for service.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of GA A&P experience, Piper familiarity, and familiarity with G1000 systems. Requires A&P license and ability to work varied shifts in Phoenix-area facilities.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant license required at hire.
• Minimum of three consecutive years of GA experience as a certificated A&P.
• Piper aircraft experience preferred.
• G1000 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight school aircraft.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Enter logbook data and release aircraft for return to service.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist team as needed.
