Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. seeks experienced Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics with active Inspection Authorization to perform maintenance on flight school and general aviation aircraft in Chandler, AZ.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and document work while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures. Qualifications include a valid A&P license, IA, high school diploma, and at least three years of GA maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required at the time of hire.
• Active FAA Inspection Authorization required.
• Minimum of three years of GA maintenance experience as an certificated A&P Mechanic.
• Garmin G1000 experience is an asset.
• Basic set of aircraft maintenance hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight school and general aviation aircraft.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Perform aircraft inspections and airworthiness determinations within A&P and IA authority.
• Complete aircraft logbook entries and document work performed.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
