Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is seeking experienced Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics in Chandler, AZ. Compensation ranges from $29.00 to $48.00 per hour based on experience and technician level.

The role involves scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight school and general aviation aircraft, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. You will document work and maintain logbooks, with shifts four 10-hour days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; FAA A&P license required.
• Minimum two years of general aviation maintenance experience as an A&P Mechanic.
• Garmin G1000 experience is an asset.
• Basic set of aircraft maintenance hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight school and general aviation aircraft.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, service, and maintain company aircraft per FAA regs.
• Read maintenance manuals, drawings, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
• Maintain aircraft records and documentation.
• Release aircraft for return to service within FAA authority.
• Ensure compliance with Title 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91.
• Coordinate with maintenance leadership and flight operations.
• Work shifts as needed.
