Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. in Chandler, AZ is seeking experienced Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight school and general aviation aircraft.

You will troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and document tasks to ensure airworthiness in compliance with FAA regulations. Ideal candidates hold a valid FAA A&P license, with two years of GA maintenance experience, and are comfortable reading manuals, handling maintenance records, and coordinating with flight operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required at hire.
• Minimum of two years general aviation maintenance experience as a certificated A&P mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on flight school and general aviation aircraft.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, service, and maintain company aircraft per FAA regulations.
• Diagnose airframe, powerplant, electrical, mechanical discrepancies and perform corrective actions.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and engineering drawings to document work.
• Release aircraft for return to service within FAA license authority and maintain maintenance records.
