A&P Mechanic

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking A&P Mechanics with corporate jet experience for an opportunity in East Alton, IL.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

A&P Mechanics will repair Challenger, Falcon, Citation, or Global aircraft and related systems. Responsibilities include parts replacement or repair, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic and pneumatic system work, aircraft or system inspections, and general mechanical tasks. Duties vary daily and are assigned by the Team Leader. The role involves direct customer contact and may require working independently or leading small projects.

• Perform mechanical functions on aircraft and systems, including removal and installation of panels and components, repair work, and sheet metal repairs or installations.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate aircraft systems as assigned.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Assist with aircraft movement, performance runs, and taxiing as needed.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
• Work independently on projects when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Corporate aircraft repair and modification experience.
• Thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145.
• Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.
• Own the minimum required tools.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
