Role: Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Duration: 6 months contract to Hire

Location: East Alton, Illinois

Job Description:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Mechanic.
• Must have Airframe & Powerplant License. Must share copy of A&P License or A&P License number.
• Must be available to work on ANY shift.
• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal/installations.
• Operating ground support equipment.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
• Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
