Job summary

STS Line Maintenance is hiring a Station Manager to lead our Dallas/Fort Worth line station. The role requires a minimum of five years in line maintenance and at least three years in management, plus a valid A&P license.

Strong English, communication, and organizational skills are essential as you will supervise technicians and ensure safety and quality in aircraft maintenance. Responsibilities include scheduling, training, and approving work orders, with a focus on meeting carrier requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' line maintenance experience.
• Minimum of three years' management experience.
• Must hold an A&P License.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must have good time management skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills required.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in team environments and in aircraft maintenance and safety.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Experience with MS Office and Kronos preferred.
• Ability to read and understand company and manufacturer manuals (GMMs/AMMs).
• Must qualify on various aircraft through GENFAM and air carrier training.
• Must perform line maintenance functions un-supervised.
• Must own a minimum set of hand tools.
• Willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to input/approve work orders and create staff schedules without OT in the schedule.
• Must complete quality/safety/maintenance docs for STS and air carriers.

Responsibilities

• Run and supervise the line station operations.
• Create and manage staff schedules to meet air carrier requirements.
• Train and assist technicians in all aspects of their positions.
• Input and approve aircraft work orders in the system.
• Maintain safety, quality, and maintenance documentation.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with manuals and policies.
• Work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Utilize MS Office tools and KRONOS for reporting and timekeeping.
• Maintain tools and ensure readiness for station tasks.
